Helicopter Spirals Wildly into Palm Groves at Well-Known California Beach
A chopper soaring near a crowded California beach suddenly began spiraling uncontrollably, finally losing altitude and smashing into a row of palm fronds as onlookers looked on.
Videos uploaded on social media show the aircraft starting to spin over the beach then falling towards the perimeter of the coast, where it becomes wedged among palms and a set of stairs adjacent to the shoreline route.

The Huntington Beach fire department reported five individuals were taken to hospital including two individuals who were in the chopper and were “extracted safely from the crash site” subsequent to the accident on the weekend.
Three people on the street were hurt. Specifics on their injuries were still under review.
The reason for the accident was not immediately released.
