It's Not All Deceptions with the Former President – Sometimes He's Unnervingly Truthful

Channel 4 is arranging to commemorate Donald Trump's visit to the UK with what it calls as "the longest uninterrupted compilation of false statements, fabrications and twisted facts ever aired on television". The program, titled Trump v The Truth, will showcase more than 100 of Trump's misleading remarks or deceptive statements. Among these are untrue assertions including the cost of eggs to disgusting fabrications about US spending on condoms for Hamas.

However, to ensure balance, it's appropriate to note that not all statements from the ex-president is untrue. At times, Trump turns out to be unexpectedly wise. Recently, footage spread online showing Trump informing guests at a gala at one of his golf clubs: "Intelligent individuals don’t like me, you know?" He went on: "Furthermore, they disapprove of what we talk about." No falsehoods noted there.

Intelligent individuals aren’t fond of me, you know? Furthermore, they aren’t pleased with what we address.

Additionally, Trump has expressed his thoughts on the destiny of his eternal spirit. In August, during a Tuesday morning, the former president apparently stated that he is striving to stop the war in Ukraine so that the divine can reserve him a place in heaven. "I want to try and enter heaven, assuming it's attainable," he clarified. "Rumors suggest I’m faring poorly. I am really at the bottom of the ranking." Although it's not feasible to confirm precisely how Trump ranks on God’s roster, many would acknowledge that his evaluation seems spot-on.

Moreover, the former president has been blunter about the political process than a number of his preceding leaders. While running for president in 2015, he plainly said that he had employed his money to affect politicians. "I donated to many people before this," he stated at a Republican candidates’ debate. "And you know what, when I require something from them two years later … I contact them. They respond for me. That’s a broken system." More accurate statements have rarely been spoken; definitely not by Trump personally.

In summary, even if a lot of Trump's communication is laden with untruths, occasionally when his candor reveals sobering facts concerning the political landscape, control, and including introspection.
