Officials stated that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and several dozen projectiles struck energy facilities, describing such attacks as "premeditated" and against "essential services" as winter approaches.

Government officials told the media that Russia was deliberately attempting to destroy the country's energy grid, with strikes already affecting gas facilities.

Officials stated technical personnel and authorities were anticipating additional strikes.
